Barista (English Speaker)

About the role We are seeking passionate and experienced baristas who are excited to be part of our new establishment.

The Monocle Café is an intimate and bustling space located on Rue Bachaumont. Offering artisanal coffee and tasty treats, as some wine and coktails on the evening. It’s a welcoming space that showcases our passion for hospitality.

Essential to your success is your ability to work effectively as part of a small team, and your committment to providing excellent service and a welcoming environment. We are now looking for an evening person who will work from 13:30 to 22:30 5 time per week. And from 7:30 to 16:30 the week after.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

-Developing a thorough understanding of our menu items and products, preparing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and coffees

-Utilising your barista and Bartender expertise and in-depth knowledge of exceptional coffee

-Providing exceptional customer service and effectively handling any customer feedback

- Take part of Monocle event such as Xmas Market, cocktail parties...

-Ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, as well as correct maintenance of café equipment

-Accurately processing customer orders and payments

-Supporting with planning and delivering café events

-Our café is open seven days a week. Benefits include Ten Belles barista training and staff discounts at the Cafe and The Monocle shop.
